About the Tonkinese
The Tonkinese was developed in North America in the mid-twentieth century from crosses between Siamese and Burmese, producing a cat midway in type. It has a medium build, a slightly rounded wedge head, and a short coat. Its 'mink' colouring is a soft point pattern, with aqua eyes.
Temperament
Sociable, playful and affectionate. Tonkinese are very people-oriented, enjoying company and games. They tend to be confident and curious.
