Petopedia

Petopedia Smart Station, in development

The feeding station that keeps the log for you.

It weighs every meal, every drink and your pet, then adds them to Petopedia automatically — so your pet's usual pattern builds itself, even on busy days.

Weighing…

What it measures

Every meal

A load cell under the food bowl notices when the weight settles lower, and logs how much was eaten — not just that the bowl was visited.

Every drink

The water bowl is weighed the same way. Slow evaporation, refills and sudden spills are recognised and left out of the total.

Their weight

A platform in front of the bowls weighs your pet while they eat. Petopedia waits until they stand still and takes a steady reading, not a single jumpy one.

Accuracy before anything else

A tracker that guesses is worse than none. So the station reports a confidence for every reading, and Petopedia only adds an entry when the bowl has settled before and after. If a reading looks like a spill or a nudge, it stays out of your pet's totals.

Next: an activity collar

A light collar that recognises walking, running, play and rest, and sends Petopedia a summary rather than a stream of raw motion data. Join below if you'd like to hear about it too.

Questions

When will it be available?

We're testing prototypes now. Before anything goes on sale we want to prove it measures food, water and weight accurately in real homes. Waitlist members hear first.

How much will it cost?

We haven't set a price yet. We'll share it with the waitlist before taking any orders.

What about homes with more than one pet?

A small tag on each collar tells the station who's eating, so every meal goes to the right pet's history.

Do I need it to use Petopedia?

No. Everything works today by logging from your phone. The station simply fills the log in for you.
